A few hours after the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon responded personally to "Israeli" daily claims and accusations to Hizbullah of violating UN resolution 1701 and slammed the Zionist entity mainly for its continuous occupation of Lebanese Al-Ghajar village, Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem renewed Hizbullah commitment to the Resistance pattern, rejecting any idea of "negotiations" or mere "dialogue" with the Zionist entity, Lebanon's eternal enemy.

Speaking during a ceremony devoted to pay tribute to the Resistance's martyrs organized by Hizbullah, Sheikh Qassem stressed that the Resistance actually strengthens Lebanon and consolidates its strength points, preventing anyone of weakening the country.

Sheikh Qassem pointed that those who talk about "disarming the Resistance" were not accurate and precise. "They are actually softening their expressions," Sheikh Qassem noted, explaining that those people's "wish" was not only to disarm the Resistance but to "delete" it and wipe it out completely if possible.

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General also commented on the discourses over a possible "Israeli" withdrawal from the occupied Ghajar village. His eminence stressed that such pullout would be achieved thanks to the Resistance and its blessing.

On Thursday, United Nations Independent Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Spokesperson Yasmina Bouzian affirmed on Thursday that the Zionist entity is forced to withdraw from al-Ghajar village in south Lebanon as per UNSCR 1701. She went on to add the United Nations is giving this issue a priority, a matter that will facilitate the implementation of the international resolution and greatly contribute towards building trust in the region.

Sheikh Qassem also tackled the UN chief's report over the resolution 1701, and read in it an acknowledgment of the "Israeli" daily violations to the Lebanese sovereignty. "It wasn't possible for him to find any evidence of Hizbullah violating the UN resolution," his eminence noted.

Ban has actually denied, in his eighth report on the implementation of UN resolution 1701, that the UNIFIL had evidences of new military infrastructure or arms smuggling operations taking place at southern region. It also criticized the ongoing "Israeli" violations of the Lebanese airspace on a daily basis, noting that the Zionist entity didn't yet provide the United Nations with maps of the mines it has tumbled across south Lebanon during the July 2006 war against the country.

Turning out to internal politics, Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General emphasized that the Lebanese national opposition would stand for the 2009 upcoming parliamentary elections through political and social platforms. His eminence slammed once again the logic of founding the electoral campaign on electoral money instead of methodical platforms.
