Marada: Either Geagea is hallucinating or he intends to instigate disturbances
Source: nowlebanon.com, 21-11-2008
The Marada Movement said that Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea's assertion that Marada gunmen were conducting patrols in Koura and Batroun meant one of two things, "either Mr. Samir Geagea has begun to suffer from actual hallucinations, or he is preparing to instigate security problems through his discourse."
"Concerning the security forces and Geagea saying that when they conducts patrols they are accompanied by Marada men, we leave the answer to the Internal Security Forces," Marada said in a statement issued on Friday. It is the army and the Internal Security Forces' duty to handle any armed presence no matter whom, the statement continued, before contending that "everyone can see that those who are challenging the judicial system, in front of the Internal Security Forces, are Geagea's militia, which occupies LBC despite a judicial decision having been issued against them."
