The "Israeli" "threats" of "destroying" Lebanon, all Lebanon, in the next confrontation with the Resistance could not pass without comments from the part of Hizbullah...

A few hours after Hizbullah International Relations officer Nawwaf Moussawi assured Lebanese that the Zionist entity, unlike the Resistance, wasn't ready for any war in the region, Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem broke his silence and reminded the "Israeli" war minister of what awaits his army if he ever thinks of plunging into another adventure with Lebanon.

Speaking to Al-Nour radio station, Sheikh Qassem said that Barak's threats of destruction and bombardment increased the belief in the necessity of maintaining weapons and strengthening the Resistance to be able to face the "Israeli" dangers. "Barak must know that "Israel's" devastation would be more splendid and grandiose," his eminence declared.

Sheikh Qassem expressed hope the March 14 forces would respond to Barak's threats and close the door for him to exploit any internal faction for the "Israeli" interest. "What's noticeable in Barak's statements is that he threatens at one part, and then entertains hopes of helping the so-called "moderate" forces in Lebanon at the other," Sheikh Qassem emphasized.

"What does Barak mean when he says that he's concerned with the results of the Lebanese parliamentary elections? Is there any party that would serve the "Israeli" interest if he emerged out of the elections as victorious?" his eminence wondered.

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General stressed that, following the 2006 Divine Victory, it wasn't acceptable anymore to retreat or fallback. "We can't be afraid of neither "Israeli" maneuvers nor "Israeli" threats," Sheikh Qassem asserted, adding that the brave Lebanese Resistance, Army and People who excelled during the July war could not surrender to the "Israeli" chantage.

"How should we retort to Barak's threats? Is it by submitting a complaint to the Security Council or by depending on the conspirator and biased America?" Sheikh Qassem wondered, before concluding that the Resistance has determined a defense mechanism "which, we think, is beneficial since it depends on a strong Resistance side by side with the army and the people."

Turning out to the internal politics, Sheikh Qassem said that achieving the elections was everyone's interest. "It's good that the two major alliances believe they would win the parliamentary majority," his eminence said, explaining that "this means that no side wants to delay the elections and this is also positives since there would be real competition in the elections."

Sheikh Qassem renewed the opposition's commitment to stay unified in the election. "We will not have alliances with the coalition," his eminence declared, rejecting the logic of intimidation and frightening at the eve of the elections.
